Liverpool has virtually concluded a deal for Hungarian international, Kerkez, estimated to be worth around €45 million. Personal terms have been agreed upon, with only minor details left to be sorted out.
Liverpool is set to reinforce its left-back options with the signing of Hungary's Kerkez, as reported by reliable sources. The signing is expected to be in the vicinity of €45 million ($51.99m), and personal terms have already been settled between the player and the Premier League champions. This move comes as Liverpool continues to strengthen its squad, having previously signed Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen to boost their right flank. Sebastijan, Kerkez's father, revealed in a podcast that the move to Liverpool is nearly finalized, with only few details left to be resolved. He emphasized that no other clubs are in consideration, suggesting a strong commitment to Liverpool. Furthermore, Liverpool's recent acquisition activities also include a deal for Bayer Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz, which could potentially rise to £116m. Liverpool had to negotiate hard for Wirtz's transfer, with two previous offers rejected by Leverkusen before they settled on an initial £100m deal, with bonuses that could reach up to £16m.
